D20 Necklace and Treasure Chest.

It was my best friend’s birthday yesterday! She’s recently started DMing for our DnD group. My boyfriend and I thought it would be fitting to make her a custom necklace.

For the pendant, we used a Pink 20-sided die, and some shiny things bought from Michael’s. We also thought it would be lame if we just handed her a necklace, so we painted up a simple wooden box and decorated it, and filled it with “gold and jewels” (aka, sequins and beads XD)

We really enjoyed crafting this, and our friend looked pretty thrilled with it XD. Also, we have PLENTY of leftover supplies… so if you also like it, be prepared to see more things of a similar nature.

Do want.

I’ve been reading Ambrose Bierce’s The Devil’s Dictionary from 1906, which is delightfully satirical and at times downright hilarious.

HELLO KITTY SAMURAI! I was talking to this nice gentleman and he was telling me about all the work that went into this costume. Apparently he didn’t have access to many power tools, and cut out all the plastic panels by hand. Then everything had to be drilled to be attached together. Lots of hard work, but looks amazing!
